How Not To Make a Mess in Your Car
We grab some food and drink from a deli, jump in the car, and head into where we are going. The nightmare begins when you hit a bump on the road, brake suddenly, or swerve to avoid an obstacle. As you do, your soda spills on the carpet, your dip splatters on the floor, and your French fries fly around the car! Avoiding this messy nightmare can be done by following a few simple rules:
First, if possible, do not eat and drive at the same time. Not only will this put off a mess but you will actually prevent any chance of a road accident from happening. In fact, many accidents happen due to drivers being distracted from foodstuff that fell out of their hands. If you need to eat and drive at the same time, place a large napkin on your lap to catch foodstuff.
Spilled drinks are a car interior's worst enemy. To avoid spills, always close the lid securely with tight lids. A tumbler with a lever that closes the drinking sprout is an excellent choice. Place your drink on your car's cup holder. If your car does not have one, invest in a cup holder at your local auto accessories store.
To avoid nasty smells from circulating inside the car's compact interior, open the windows, especially if the temperature outside allows you to do so. This will eliminate odours in the vehicle while you eat. Finally, avoid adding creamers and sugars to your coffee or salt and condiments to your food in the car. This is a real invitation to a messy mishap. Ask a passenger to do it for you or place the condiments on the foodstuff before driving.
